Some people view that relationships between countries can be achieved by helding international sporting events. However, others believe that they can trigger more tension. This phenomenon has become a considerable debate between sport enthusiasts. I firmly believe that wether they can create rivarly or not depends on fans' perspective.

Some people argue that sporting events are considered one of the most influential factor that can increase tension between countries. This issue stems from fanatic supporters who can not accept their country's defeat. The most important thing is this fanaticism can bring more problems although they are not part of the competition. For example, the badminton sparring between Indonesia and Malaysia in 2010. This competition make the supporters from both countries throw bad words to each other. Moreover, these swearings reach to their culture.

On the other hands, proponents argue that olympic events can increase relation and healthier relationship between countries. This can lead nations to further diplomatic that can bring them a lot of benefits. Indonesia and the Netherlands serve as a pertinent example of how sporting events can bring them significant growth in economic and education. After the football match in 2011, the education ministry of the Netherlands opens a spesific scholarship for Indonesia. This is because the fans from both countries are supportively participate in the events and see the event as an opportunity to increase relationships quality.

To conclude, Whether sporting events can help to build better relationships or create tension contingent upon how the supporters' behaviour. Therefore, it is important to participate in this event wisely by eliminating hostinity between countries.
