Some people think that the government should discourage people from using cars. Others believe that people should be free to use their cars as they wish. Discuss both views and give your own opinion.

Many believe that urban congestion and pollution are caused by the huge number of private transportation on the road. Some people argue that the excessive use of cars should be reduced, while others think that is a public right. I firmly believe that the government should discourage people from using private vehicles.

The usage of private transportation is regarded as the most impactful factor to traffic problems and pollution. This is because the road can not accommodate the enormous number of vehicles leading to the heavy bottleneck on it. Moreover, chemical substances such as carbon monoxide have detrimental impacts on the environment. Therefore, the government plays as a crucial factor to introduce a new regulation to reduce private cars usage. Japan serves as a pertinent example for manageable traffic, this country is considered to be one of the cleanest nations in the world since its government pushes its people to use public transportation.

On the other hand, some people believe that using private transportation is their authorities and can not be forbidden by anyone even the government. Moreover, proponents argue that using their own cars is more flexible. However, this is a wrong opinion because using public transportation can guarantee society convenience and create a fresh and comfortable environment.

To conclude, the restriction of private car usage plays a crucial driver to reduce pollution and severe traffic problems. Some people still feel this regulation is not fair for them since it takes away their right. However, as long as it provides benefits to the city, people should understand this regulation can present a long-term healthy environment for years.
